A Credit Co-operative founded by all the members of self respect with the inspiration and guidance of Advocate Sri B.V. Malla Reddy and Businessman Sri D.R.Gopinath, both founders of Sreenidhi Souharda Sahakari Bank Niyamita.
When 18 like minded, service oriented persons decided to form a Credit Co-operative, to extend the mutual financial help and assistance to all the like minded persons, they had held a meeting on 08.10.2009 and selected 10 promoters from all fields and walks of life, like Advocates, Engineers, Doctors, Businessmen, Social Workers, Retired Government officials. The promoters have applied and got the permission from Department of Co-operation, Government of Karnataka to collect the share capital of Rs.10,00,000/- from at least 1000 members with in 3 months from 09.11.2009. Money was not a matter and so also the members who wanted to join the mission. Within two months the promoters could able to collect Rs.22,45,195.00 from 1111 members. The Government of Karnataka has issued a certificate of registration on 03.02.2010.
The Co-operative has started its business in the premises bearing No. 125, 1st Floor, Diagonal Road, V.V. Puram, Bangalore-560 004 on and with effect from 16-05-2010 on the auspicious day of Akshaya Thruthiya with fully Computerised, Safe Deposit Lockers facilities, in an A.C atmosphere.
